Our B&B is located very close to St. Peter's Square, the famous square in Rome where the largest Basilica of the world stands, and the name of our B&B "Al Colonnato di San Pietro" comes from the fact that from the main entrance of our building you can see the spectacular oval of the Colonnade, famous work by Gian Lorenzo Bernini who in St. Peter's Square drew the symbolic embrace that the church of Rome turns to its believers.

Our B&B is located in the historic centre of Rome. It is also close to other important districts such as Aurelio, Prati and Mazzini, the elegant residential and commercial districts of Parioli and Nomentano, home to many foreign embassies.

Our elegantly furnished rooms are situated in a late nineteenth century historical building and are equipped with bathroom, air conditioning, television, minibar and safe. They overlook the ancient Aurelian Walls (dating back to the third century AD) at the foot of the Gianicolo hill.

Although situated right in the historical centre our B & B is located in a very quiet and slightly elevated area.

From our B&B you can reach all the main monuments of Rome. A few steps separates you from St. Peter's Square and the Vatican Museums but you can also easily reach other interesting sites such as Sant'Angelo Castle, Trastevere, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, walk to the Spanish Steps and to the Trevi Fountain.

The nearby public transport will take you to other Rome's important historical and cultural sites including the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and Villa Borghese.

Upon request a shuttle service to and from Fiumicino airport can be arranged for you as well as tailored tourist services to visit the city of Rome.
