The Blue Room

From the outside, the building is an austere historical construction dating back to the end of the 19th century, facing “Porta Cavalleggeri” (Cavalleggeri door ), one of the doors opening in the Leonine Wall; the wall was erected by Pope Leo IV, between 848 and 852, to protect the Vatican Hill and St. Peter’s Basilica.

Between the ancient tower, the columns of Bernini and the Leonine wall one can access the building that houses the elegant and comfortable rooms of "Al Colonnato di San Pietro" Bed and Breakfast in Rome. The whole apartment has recently been renovated and designed by an architect who has taken care of the style.

The double glassed windows allows a proper tranquillity, the furnitures in our rooms are made of solid wood to ensure strength and comfort, our beds have hypoallergenic lining and orthopedic mattresses that offers a proper and comfortable rest.

The B & B has three rooms in total, two with en suite bathroom.

To increase the comfort of our guests, the rooms are equipped with safety box, minibar and a folding table as well as spacious modern and well finished bathrooms.  

And it is just in the services, the caring and the cleaning of the rooms that will get you in direct touch with the owner that has led the B&B to the fame and excellent reputation on and off-line.
